My leg healing

Sometimes I wake in the night and read online about others who have knee injuries.  There is a certain understanding different when you can't bend the knee so walk at all.  There is a certain suffering that others know about, can talk about very well.  I listen!

He awoke

to find Esther making coffee.  What a weekend away from stress of the job.  It had been a whirlwind since opening the office in Houston.  He felt he was home after going to another world.  Now he felt himself.  Being around Emma also had that effect.  She was so comforting in a chaotic world and he felt chaotic all right.  Esther said she understood.  She had followed Emma around for years.  He went for his run along the river and thought he was hooked also.

Robert felt great

in his Durango home on Crestview.  He doubled up on his couch with Netflix.  His mind wandered to when he was fourteen and in middle school.  He would have loved to have grown up in Durango.  Tomorrow he would go for a run then meet John at the Durango Diner.  Houston was a million miles away...

South Korea

The Winter Olympics has begun and I am looking forward to the ice skating.  Emma had her boys with her, Robert was in town and he and John were competing for her attention.  She made them banana bread and hot chocolate, with whipped cream.  They wanted to know about her return to college and the classes she was teaching.  Emma said that she was working with some new material in bioinformatics in genome sequencing.  It was her research that challenged her sharp mind and the college class was rewarding.  Her students were from all over the world.  Emma got a call just as the banana bread came out of the oven.

South Korea

It has begun the winter Olympics.  I'm looking forward to the ice skating.  Emma sat down with her boys. Robert was in town so he and John were competing over her attention.  She made them banana bread and hot chocolate with whipped cream.  They wanted to know all about her college return and the classes she was teaching at Fort Lewis.  She said that she had some new material, genome mining and engineering.
