San Diego

At one time the train figured prominately in the downtown.  I once ate at the restaurant caboose.  Everyone figured strong somehow, all connected that morning.  No one seemed to be in a private mood including me.  So we conversed, heartily.  There was the couple on their honeymoon, the computer scientist from up north and the old man and woman married ages they said.  I went back to my monthly rented room somehow happier than I had been for months.

Championship games

Raising the bar....

Salad bar

I took my daughter through the line of the biggest salad bar ever, picking out specific entrees of the speciality.  Can't say enough about the choices, all important and the top of the heap or helping.

Cruise Ship

Like a submarine dive in a tsunami, the ship recovered into a transformation of the size and shape, more eclectic and sharper.  The type of movement that is faster, more mobile so that the heights are reached.  The ship is all changed!

Kansas

Stayed there for a week during the Fourth 2 years ago.  I took long walks to Wal-Mart eating potato salad to celebrate the holiday.  But most impressive were the big wide spaces in the sky.  They are famous for the blue landscapes up high, I felt.  Time moves slower, a luxurious clock, keeping pace.

50,000 dollar dress

Remembering my dream and Grace on the fly...  Her dress took her to a new place.  So did mine.

Navy van

When we were happy driving to Brush Colorado, my husband and I listened to the ultra modern music.  That van fit us and we were way different from each other.  The music loud,  the fun was impenetrable.  Once we went to my sister's wedding and left soon after to go down the road, down the road, blue van.

September 15

My anniversary of having hurt myself is tomorrow, four months ago.  I was rushing and running and slipped in a very freak accident mode.  I am over the worst now even though I still have bad days.  Over the bell curve of very dangerous outcomes, I am grateful and lucky to be as good as I am at this part of recovery.  Thanks to my physical therapy team and doctor!

Football

Love it like gravitational waves...

2 months and one day

I left the rehab/care center the time ago...  I feel better most ways.  Healing has been a process.  I remember every victory and going backwards.  Time moves slow!

A Journalist

Emma spent most of her time writing.  She wanted to publish in a medical journal.  Using her MD this way fit her.  She had her coffee eyeing her article, she felt the history when she was a med student and very young.  She met her husband there as well.  Smiling to herself she went back to the article.

Cabin in the woods

I would often take walks, 7500 feet high looking at heaven, the mountains a sermon for sure.

1987

I moved into my house in the mountains, Conifer, Colorado.  The drive was a bear at that time but it was a gorgeous house.  To commute was a new idea but the drive was so beautiful and peaceful. I knew it by heart, every curve.

Summer by the pool

What a memory in January.   The view!  Very lofty very unstable, the water reflecting all kinds of stories.  The shape of water took on the profane.

Downtown Denver

Used to live in housing there.  I had the most beautiful bed with a crimson bed spread and floors all shiny.  I had the most incredulous experiences there.  Now I think of living there close to 16th street mall and the now marijuana dispensaries.  It looks like a New Mexico landscape painting.

San Bernadillo

I woke up one morning after a party night.  I came from Las Vegas and stopped near Los Angeles or so I thought.  I stayed in a hotel and the pillows were feather, propped up.  Had breakfast and watched morning shows.  Took the train to the train station downtown promoting my screenplay.

Car parked

Near me watching me, I noticed it started when the game was on and proceeded from there and then.  What is it?

The classroom

To teach,  Emma had a degree in psychology.  No one knew that she was also an MD from a Russian University that she received when she was 25, her specialty in neurobiology.

Blue

The color for January representing the cold and the frost as well as symbolic sky the wideness of space.

Another dream

I was protecting an object like a hat or purse full of cash.  That then went to a woman who bought a 50,000 dollar dress and I was impressed with the design and fabric, the luxury of the buying, selling and matters concerning the dress that expensive.

January

The cool air meets the beginning nuance, of starting again or over.

Skiing

They had a great time on the slopes then went to the lodge for schnapps and hot chocolate to celebrate.  On the drive home they both felt a nice kind of tired.  Emma exclaimed, "John your the best".  She was referring to him as a skier and a driver!

Predictions for 2018

Make an appointment.

Record temperatures

and my broken toes are starting to have normal feeling.  It is wonderful that I may still recover completely.  So far the probabilities are still out on that.
