Sunflower had graduated from the University of Denver Law School, in one and a half years because of her grades and also her sabbatical at Legal Aid where she met and was mentored by Judge Guiterrez.  He said she was gifted and because of his retirement and loss of his wife to breast cancer a few years back, he meant to see her on the bench as
quickly as "my flashback, and duty"!
